Soooooo I hired a book editor

Holy guacamole! I gave my book baby away to be critiqued!

Life has been going so fast and yet somehow I am actually keeping up. I think its because I have a lot of things happening that I am excited for so I am more motivated than ever! I've been working hard at school and work. I am meeting with a web developer tomorrow improve my website and build my app. And... I've hired a book editor!

I'm working with Bailee Condie at Ink and Quill publishing to edit my book! She is a new freelance editor so I was able to get a massive discount which is nice since I'm a poor college student also trying to start a business. I've booked her for two edits, the first is a manuscript critique and I should be getting my book back by October and I will edit it some more, and I have to send my manuscript back to her by the end of October for the copy edit! Then in November I will attempt NaNoWriMo again, and hopefully sometime in December, my book will be ready for publication!

Its crazy to think that I've given my book baby to an editor for the next big step in my book publishing journey! I hope everything turns out!

On other news, I participated in a talent show last Monday and I dressed up as my main character (Elyon) and put my book on display!
