Writing Blog Supplemental Star Date 9/06/2022

This is officially my first blog post! I've been super busy working on the website and so I'm doing a blog post cause why not!

Right now I'm taking a "Starting a Small Business" class and we need to get some validation on our business ideas. I feel like I can customers will like my book, (as in my last business class I got the chance to validate my book idea) but will I be able to validate my business idea?

The key parts of Mount Creation Publishing is to be able to market books in a way that no one has done before. I mean right now no publisher is selling three-in-one book bundles, or even have everything you need in one place! No publisher is building a community like how I want to build a community through MCP.

But right now, I really don't know what my future looks like. Not only is there a lot that needs to be done to launch MCP but I also have a lot of work needed to be done on my novella series that I'm going to publish. Then there's the marketing, social media, school, work. I have so much to do! The craziest thing of all is I'm thinking of pausing everything. Everything. To do a service mission for my church and heal both mentally and physically.

Mental health is something that I've always struggled with. Life has not spared me from heartache and sorrows. I want to chase my dreams but I really think first, I need to learn how to take care of my mental health. I'm trying to make that a priority but it's a struggle with everything going on in my life right now. But that's why I want pause. Do something that I will never the chance to do again, especially after starting my business. It would be a dream come true to get to pause my life for a while, serve my family, friends, and community, and become strong both mentally and physically.
